Hi there! I’m Rachel Sultzer, a Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Breastfeeding Educator, and Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula based in Jacksonville, Florida.

My journey in child and family care began over 20 years ago as a childcare provider. In my role as a full-time nanny, I quickly realized that my passion extended beyond simply caring for infants and young children—I found deep fulfillment in supporting entire families, especially new and nursing mothers. Volunteering as an “Infant Cuddler” for at-risk babies in the UF Shands NICU further strengthened my dedication to helping little ones and their families thrive.

My path into lactation support was inspired by one of the mothers I cared for. I watched her struggle with breastfeeding, facing a lack of support and education from the community around her. I knew I couldn’t just stand by—I had to do more. In July 2017, I earned my Lactation Counselor Certification through Healthy Children Project Inc., Center for Breastfeeding. Under the mentorship of Kelly Googe at Womb to World Doula Services, I’ve had the privilege of supporting countless families in Jacksonville on their feeding journeys.

My Mission

As a Certified Lactation Counselor and Breastfeeding Educator, my goal is simple:
✅ Educate families on the importance of breastfeeding
✅ Encourage and empower parents to make feeding decisions that work for them
✅ Provide compassionate, evidence-based support during one of the most transformative times in a family's life

I firmly believe that a happy, healthy mama leads to a happy, healthy family—and that looks different for everyone! My role is to support and guide you, judgment-free, so you can find what works best for your unique journey.

Postpartum Support & Infant Care

The fourth trimester—the first 12 weeks after birth—can be both beautiful and overwhelming. Through my work as a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, I’ve seen firsthand how vital it is for families to feel supported, heard, and validated during this time. Whether it’s emotional support, hands-on guidance, or just a listening ear, my goal is to help your family gain confidence in this new season of life.

Bringing a new baby into the family is a big transition, and my support extends beyond just mama and baby—I’m here for the whole family, ensuring that everyone feels equipped and nurtured through this exciting change.

A Little About Me

When I’m not supporting families, you can find me:
✨ Watching The Office (on repeat!)
✨ Traveling with my partner
✨ Planning my next Disney adventure
✨ Spending time with my fur babies

I’d love to be part of your journey—whether that’s through lactation support, postpartum care, or simply helping you navigate the ups and downs of new parenthood. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s create a plan that works for you and your growing family!
