As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and Certified Breastfeeding Educator (CBE) serving the Jacksonville area, I am excited to partner with local postpartum care providers to offer in-office Breastfeeding 101 classes. I am also happy to offer private on-line classes as well as private in-home classes to fit all your comfort needs.
Breastfeeding 101 is a course designed for expectant parents who are thinking about or planning to breastfeed. The class is a comprehensive, evidence-based, judgement-free breastfeeding class.

How does breastfeeding work
Getting the best start
Positioning and latching
Common breastfeeding problems and treatments

Breastfeeding 101 - Private In Home Class
This private, one-on-one class takes place in the comfort of your own home. Designed as a prenatal education session, it does not replace an in-home visit after your baby arrives. The class lasts approximately two hours to three hours.
